What Patients Are Saying

"Because of this wonderful idea you have come up with I no longer have to worry about having my sleeves rolled up and covering up with a sweatshirt over the top of me. I LOVE the fact that from here on out I will be able to stay warm and comfort-able! It is so nice to just unzip my sleeve, have my i.v. started, zip it back up, and relax...”

- Sharon, Treatment Patient

"When I show people how my RonWear jacket works, they do a double-take because they hadn’t thought it was anything other than a nice sweat jacket. No more rolled up sleeves, tight on my arm!”

- Evan C., Dialysis Patient

"Wearing this jacket during treatment saved my clothing AND my nurses the headache of having to hold back my shirt when accessing my port. I'd highly recommend it."

- Bill H., Cancer Patient

Ronwear chemotherapy clothing

RonWear Port-able Clothing Stylish Apparel with Port Openings for people undergoing Chemotherapy and Infusion Therapies

RonWear Port-able Clothing was born out of love and concern for family members facing health challenges. Our premium chemo therapy clothing provides warmth, comfort, and functionality along with fashionable styles that look as great as they feel. As cancer patients know, receiving chemotherapy treatment is uncomfortable enough without also having to deal with clothing that does not cooperate with the ports and other devices needed during treatment. Our clothing is designed to keep you warm and comfortable during chemotherapy treatments while also being convenient and functional enough to allow for easier treatments using your ports.

Here are some of the ways RonWear is made to fit your lifestyle:

  • -Jackets have four zippered port openings in the chest and arms that provide interchangeable access if your port changes
  • - Hidden-zipper design creates a sleek, stylish non-medical look
  • Dual-tab zippers allow you to open or close port openings exactly where needed to minimize body exposure and protect your dignity
  • -Integrated media pocket holds digital devices
  • -Port-able pants have elastic waistbands and drawstrings for enhanced comfort when weight fluctuates
  • -Companion pants without port access are also available to create complete ensembles with port-able jackets for those who don’t need groin ports
  • -Jackets feature full-length front zippers, making them easier to put on than pullovers—especially for seniors and people with disabilities
  • -Antimicrobial finish helps prevent odors and inhibits the spread of bacteria
  • -Special stain-release fabric treatment helps release stains that would otherwise ruin your clothes
  • -Fluid-repellent finish causes blood and other fluids to bead up for quick and easy cleaning

About RonWear

My brother Ron, a dialysis patient, continually complained of the embarrassment of hospital gowns and being cold during treatment. RonWear was born when I designed and sewed the first zippered fleece shirt for him. Warm, comfortable and convenient, Ron’s treatment experience immediately improved.

Today, RonWear continues to set the bar for stylish, great looking treatment clothing for men and women. Warmth, dignity, ease…the founding inspiration in 2004 and the hallmark of all our garments today.
